Hard to believe one week from today, I’ll have arrived in Seoul, visited the DMZ and some amazing places, have had my first taste of Korean cuisine, and getting ready to present my first published paper/presentation at the Northeast Asian History Foundation Conference (along with 13 other colleagues chosen to attend as the US Teacher Diplomats delegation). What an honor! A historic and personal journey and human geography adventure/field studies experience of a lifetime! I cannot wait for you to travel with me! Here’s a few places that I’ll be visiting … until next week and more posts …

I teach AP Human Geography, World HistoryI-Honors at Cosby HS in Midlothian, Va. with Chesterfield Co. Public Schools System. I also teach Medical Law & Ethics as an elective class for our Governor's Specialty School for Health Sciences at Cosby. I have been teaching for almost 40, love history and love to travel. I have taken my students to almost all presidential inaugurations since 1980, traveled overseas to places of historical significance and travel throughout the United States. I believe that history is a part of life! Everything we do is history! We live it and learn from it! If we don't learn about our past, we will have a tremendous impact on our future! We should always be proud of our culture, our school & community, our country and the betterment of our world - THIS is imperative to our survival!! View all posts by acanipe
