Sunday was our Field Excursion “day off” to explore on our own…what did we do? Started our early at attended a Buddhist service at one of the oldest temples in Seoul.
Got to get some beads blessed for a colleague “back home” for a wedding gift.
Visited a couple of “unique spots around town” and even got to dance a little “Gangum Style”. https://youtu.be/rRpr_hM7Mt4 Don’t laugh … I tried!
I was pleasantly surprised and treated by a Cosby Titan Family – out to dinner “on the town” – before attending the South Korea/Mexico World Cup Game in downtown Seoul. What an experience! It was AWESOME!!!

I teach AP Human Geography, World HistoryI-Honors at Cosby HS in Midlothian, Va. with Chesterfield Co. Public Schools System. I also teach Medical Law & Ethics as an elective class for our Governor's Specialty School for Health Sciences at Cosby. I have been teaching for almost 40, love history and love to travel. I have taken my students to almost all presidential inaugurations since 1980, traveled overseas to places of historical significance and travel throughout the United States. I believe that history is a part of life! Everything we do is history! We live it and learn from it! If we don't learn about our past, we will have a tremendous impact on our future! We should always be proud of our culture, our school & community, our country and the betterment of our world - THIS is imperative to our survival!! View all posts by acanipe
